Founded in 2004 by Drs. Ranchod, Jogi and Bhagwandas, National Radiology Services Inc began as a single diagnostic imaging practice in Springs and has grown into a multi‑centre radiology entity across Gauteng,  including facilities at Netcare N17 Hospital (East Rand), Ahmed Kathrada Private Hospital (South Rand), Netcare Waterfall City Hospital (Midrand), and the Woodmead outpatient facility. With a dedicated team of radiographers and diagnostic radiologists committed to imaging excellence, NRS needed a website that reflected its scale, professionalism, and patient‑centred mission.

Their challenge: present a complex, multi‑location medical imaging service in a clear, intuitive, and trustworthy digital format; support patient journeys from information to booking, integrate online payments and practice‑locator functionality, and deliver a UI/UX experience that reinforced their brand as a leader in diagnostic imaging.

Our Approach & Solutions

UI / UX Experience

We designed user flows tailored for different audience segments — patients browsing imaging services, doctors referring patients, and visitors locating a facility. The interface is streamlined, clean, and professional — prioritizing accessibility, clarity, and trust. Navigation accounts for imaging types (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X‑rays), service preparation, and practice locations.

Web Design & Development

We built a responsive, CMS‑based website that aligns with NRS’s brand tone: professional, confident, and approachable. Visuals and content reflect cutting‑edge radiology, and design elements emphasize ease of use. The site supports secure payment processing, referral forms, and clear calls to action for booking and enquiries.

Patient Experience & Custom Systems

We implemented a custom online payment system that allows patients to pay for services or pre‑authorise imaging online — reducing on‑site friction and improving clarity. We also developed a practice locator feature enabling users to find the most convenient NRS facility based on service, location, or doctor. The overall patient experience is thus smoother, faster, and more transparent.

Ongoing Maintenance

Given the critical nature of medical services, we ensure the website remains secure, up‑to‑date, and scalable and performance checks are part of the ongoing support package so NRS’s digital presence runs without compromise.
